Chris Lewis, D.V.M.

Dr. Lewis was born and raised in Indian Mound, Tennessee. He earned his B.S. degree from Austin Peay State University and his D.V.M. from University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Following graduation, Dr. Lewis became a practice owner and partner of North Stewart Veterinary Clinic and Gateway Animal Care Group, PC in 2000. Dr. Lewis is a member of the AVMA and AAEP. His interest is in large and small internal medicine and chiropractic care. He and his wife Kim, who is also a veterinarian in Clarksville, have two children. In his spare time, Dr. Lewis enjoys hunting and fishing and working on his cattle farm.


Kimberly Lewis, D.V.M.

Dr Kim Lewis is a native from Franklin, TN where she grew up around having pets and at a young age knew she wanted to pursue the career of a veterinarian. She attended MTSU for her undergraduate studies and majored in chemistry. She then went on to become a 2000 graduate of the college of veterinary medicine at The University of Tennessee Knoxville. She worked four years at a small animal practice in Mount Juliet and then married Dr Chris Lewis and moved to Clarksville, TN. She has been with Gateway Animal Care Group since 2009. She is a small animal veterinarian with a focus in small animal dentistry.
In her free time she enjoys decorating her home and shopping. You will also see her running her two children to various events including piano lessons and softball games.


Kristi Thompson, D.V.M.

Dr. Thompson is from Clarksville, TN. She attended Murray State University, graduating in 2013 with her Bachelor’s Degree of Science. She then attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM in 2017. After graduation Dr. Thompson joined Gateway Animal Care Group and works primarily at their North Stewart location. She has 3 dogs – Gage, Imogen, and Buddy. Her interests include reading, watching TV, and spending time with her awesome family.

Paxton Parker, D.V.M.

Paxton Parker is from Franklin, TN. She attended the University of Tennessee and received her Bachelor’s of Animal Science in 2017. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM in 2020. She enjoys working on large and small animals and has a German shepherd of her own named Rhaego and a cat named Julep. She spends her free time in the great outdoors kayaking, hiking, running, and snowboarding.

Leanna Keatts

Leanna Keatts is a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician, she graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007. She joined North Stewart Veterinary Clinic in 2005 and enjoys both large and small animal medicine.

Jennifer Dean, LVMT

Murray St. Grad. 2006. Married to Shawn Dean with two fur babies Lilly and Toad. Enjoy running and exercising.


Sarah has been with North Stewart Veterinary Clinic since 2003. She has a bachelor of science degree in Agriculture from Austin Peay State University. She enjoys small animal medicine.


Sandy is the office manager at North Stewart Vet Clinic. She has been with them since 2010. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children and grandson.


Wendy has been in customer service for over 20 years, joining North Stewarts team in November of 2019. Wendy is an animal lover, that has a crazy addiction to Christmas trees & useless Facts.


I was born and raised in Montgomery County. I’ve been married for 4 years. I graduated APSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture. I am currently working on my Master’s in Veterinary Hospital Management at Murray. I plan to go to vet school at UTK. I have been with North Stewart Vet Clinic since 2017. I have 2 dogs- Monte and Tank, 2 cats- Leo and Aurora, 2 ferrets- Boomer and Moby, and 2 horses- Buddy and Stormy. I enjoy horseback riding, bowfishing, gardening, and crafts.
